摘要:

Among all the elementary particles in the Standard Model (SM), the Higgs boson has a unique and fundamental role related to the electroweak symmetry breaking and the generation of particle masses. The experimental measurement of Higgs boson couplings serves as a test bench for the SM as well as a potential portal to new physics. In this talk, I will present the latest combined measurements of the Higgs boson couplings, and also the first direct study of top Yukawa coupling CP properties using ttH and tH productions from the ATLAS experiment.  These results, based on the large LHC Run 2 dataset, are sensitive to potential Beyond the SM physics and represent the state of the art from the LHC.

 

报告人简介:

杨洪洮博士是劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室的钱柏林博士后学者(Chamberlain Fellow),本科毕业于北京大学物理学院,2016年在威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校取得博士学位。杨洪洮博士长期在ATLAS实验从事希格斯物理研究工作,曾参与希格斯玻色子的发现,并在希格斯玻色子的质量、自旋、宇称、耦合等性质测量中作出关键贡献,曾担任ATLAS希格斯联合测量组负责人。此外,杨洪洮博士在ATLAS硅像素探测器领域也有突出贡献,目前正在伯克利国家实验室从事硅像素探测器前端读出芯片的升级工作。
