Abstract: The completion of the Standard Model by the discovery of a
Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) has opened up a new era
for particle physics. However, the whole spectrum of the Higgs potential
is yet to be understood. Furthermore, there are many mysteries to be
resolved such as the hierarchy problem, dark matter, neutrino
oscillation, baryon asymmetry in the Universe, and inflation, which must
be explained by a theory beyond the Standard Model. The Higgs sector
could be an important window to search for such new physics. This
presentation will introduce you to ongoing efforts at the ATLAS
experiment to search for a possible interplay between the Higgs and dark
sectors, and prospects for the future.
